There was a point in time where Rihanna and Drake were assumed love birds, now Rihanna has confirmed that today the two aren’t much of anything. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In a new interview with Vogue, the songstress touched on topics like body shaming, turning 30-years-old, and #Drake.
“We don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either,” the singer said about Drake.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“It is what it is.”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You may remember a couple of years back when Drake gave a heartwarming introduction while present Rih with MTV’s Vanguard award by confessing his love. Well apparently, Rihanna had other opinions of that moment.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“The VMAs is such a fan-focused awards show, so having that energy around me, and knowing the people who had received the award in the past, made it feel like a big deal,” she said. “Waiting through that speech was probably the most uncomfortable part. I don’t like too many compliments; I don’t like to be put on blast.”

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
While the pair may not be as fond of each other these days, they are responsible for giving us hits like “What’s My Name” and “Work”.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Hopefully, the two can still give us great music in the future.
