Rihanna’s Twitter page has a new look and fans believe it’s a sign that she won’t be returning to music.
From the former Twitter profile pic of the Fenty Beauty smize to a clean-cut, smiling headshot; it appears the singer-turned-fashion icon is focusing her energy on her booming fashion house, #Fenty. In doing so, she’s become the first woman ever to launch a fashion brand at #LVMH. While this news is amazing, it only has fans pressing more to find out if and when there will be new music.
The great thing is Ms. Fenty has confirmed there will be new tunes coming in the future. The bad gal had an interview with journalist and playwright Jeremy O. Harris, where she gave details about an upcoming album. The reggae album, she says, will likely be titled #R9; a name her Navy fan base pitched her online. “I’m about to call it that probably, ’cause they have haunted me with this “R9, R9, when is R9 coming out?” How will I accept another name after that’s been burned into my skull?”
However, Rihanna says the new music doesn’t have a release date. And although fans appear to be overjoyed over Rih’s continuous glow as a businesswoman, they aren’t taking the new Twitter change easily. In fact, Many felt this was a sign that she would never be handing over her album. This is how the internet responded to her revamped Twitter profile, as she moved to change her Fenty Savage header to a plain blue background.
”Rihanna done put up the professional LinkedIn headshot as her profile picture, LMAOOOOO we ain’t never getting music again,” ODtheMC wrote, as others chimed in, saying, ”riri bout to start writin’ books.”

”soon she gonna change ‘badgalriri’ to ‘robyn fenty’,” another said, as another wrote, ”When she said “you see me I be work work work work work work” we didn’t think she meant this kind?.”
