Daycares and school yards everywhere will never be the same after Rihanna’s “Fenty Kids” arrives on the scene.
Motherhood has sparked a new business venture within the already massive Fenty universe, and Riri is ready to bring her vision to life. Newly unearthed documents from the United States Patent And Trademark Office website confirmed that Ri filed a trademark for Fenty Kids on January 20th. While no official word on collaborations or release dates has been announced, the filing covered a wide range of baby goods, with clothing being the standout.
The 34-year-old first dropped hints of Fenty Kids’ arrival back in November when she shared that she would “have so much fun” with a line of baby threads. That was months after she gave birth to her son with rapper A$AP Rocky in May. Shortly before the new year, Riri offered a first glimpse at her adorable baby boy via TikTok.
Rihanna is hard at work preparing for her highly anticipated return to the stage during this year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show. Therefore, Fenty Kids likely won’t be hitting the market anytime soon. However, it joins her growing list of ventures fans have to look forward to, including Fenty Hair.
While her first time diving into the world of kids’ looks, Rihanna is no stranger to running a successful clothing line. In May 2019, she launched a fashion house with luxury conglomerate LVMH. However, when the relentless COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020, the company simply couldn’t sustain under the mounting pressure and was forced to close its doors in February 2021. Now, with the thick of the pandemic mostly behind us, the Grammy-award winner is ready to get back into the apparel arena.
As one of the most stylish singers in the industry, rest assured that Rihanna will deliver looks perfect for the crib and celebrity playdates alike.
