The 2016 Global Citizen Festival is set to be the most star-studded yet with it’s long list of A-list talent expected to take the stage September 24.

Global Citizen, a nonprofit that aims to eradicate poverty by 2030, announced their celebrity line up Tuesday morning. Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, Selena Gomez, Metallica and Major Lazer will headline the annual concert at Central Park in New York.

In addition, Usher, Chris Martin of Coldplay, Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam’s, Ellie Golding, and reggaeton singer Yandel and Yusuf, will join as guest performers.

This year’s event marks the fifth year celebrities join to raise awareness on poverty in an effort to move world leaders to make changes in education, health, water and sanitation, environment, finance and innovation and food and hunger.

“Over the last five years, Global Citizens around the world have taken more than six million actions in the fight against extreme poverty – actions that are set to affect the lives of over 650 million of the world’s most marginalized people,” Global Citizen CEO Hugh Evans said. “This year’s Festival – and this incredible lineup – is an annual touch point to hold our world leaders to account on their commitments to solve the world’s biggest problems”

Last year, FLOTUS Michelle Obama, Beyoncé and Joe Biden were just a few of the celebrity guests.

Tickets to the event can be won through a lottery system for taking action in one’s community, reaching out to world leaders, signing petitions, or speaking up on social media. If you would like more information on how to get involved check out globalcitizen.org.
