Rihanna just became the newest member of the Billionaires club and she seemed pretty humble when asked about the accomplishment.
When a photographer asked the 33-year-old music, clothing, and beauty mogul what the term “Self-made billionaire” meant to her, she responded simply, “God is good.”
According to Forbes, the Bajan-born beauty is now worth a whopping $1.7 billion, which gives her the honor of being one of the wealthiest female musicians in the world.
While Rihanna has always been a powerhouse music artist, Forbes estimated that $1.4 billion of her nest egg comes from her cosmetics company Fenty Beauty, as a partner with French fashion giant LVMH.
The cosmetic branch of her empire, launched in 2017 with the goal of promoting inclusivity, is now one of the top-selling makeup brands in the world.
While her lingerie company, Savage x Fenty, also contributes to her net worth, bringing in another $270 million.
