Rihanna fans may get more than expected with her upcoming Super Bowl halftime performance.
On Tuesday, an insider told The Sun that Rih is in the process of filming a documentary about her highly-anticipated performance.
“She will be recording during rehearsals and meetings in the lead-up to the big night and give an insight into what her life is really like now she is returning to pop as a mum,” the source said. “Rihanna is a massive force to be reckoned with when it comes to music and so Apple has paid millions.”
The insider added that Rih recently signed “a huge deal” with Apple to have the documentary premiere on Apple TV+. However, the information has not been confirmed by Rih’s camp.
In September, the NFL announced that the singer would be headlining the 2023 halftime show.
During a recent interview with Associated Press, Rih hinted at a “special project” that she’s working on.
“Super Bowl is one thing, new music is another thing. Do you hear that, fans?” she said. “Because I knew the second that I announced this, I said: ‘Oh my God, they’re going to think that my album is coming. I need to get to work!’ I do have new music coming out, but we’ll see. Unrelated, unrelated, but a special project.”
