Rihanna Talks Upcoming Super Bowl Halftime Performance: “I’m Nervous, But I’m Excited”

While fans are excited to see Rihanna’s anticipated Super Bowl halftime performance, the pop singer is trying to calm her nerves.

TMZ recently caught up with Rih while grocery shopping and asked how she felt about returning to the stage.

“I’m nervous, but I’m excited,” she says.

When asked if her boyfriend and child’s father, A$AP Rocky, would be joining her on stage, the 34-year-old shrugged her shoulders and said, “Maybe, girl.”

Last week, Rih announced her performance in a unique way. The Fenty founder shared an uncaptioned Instagram post that featured her tattooed hand holding a football.

The halftime show will mark Rih’s return to the stage after six years. The singer’s released her last album ‘Anti’ in 2016. Although her vocals have been heard in many songs since then, the majority of Rih’s post-album music consists of features from 2017.
