So many times we , society, focus on those that have “made it”. In awe, we praise their efforts and relish in their success. What if we took that same support and geared it towards those that have the ambition and drive to be just as successful? I am a firm believer in highlighting those that are making positive strides.
Meet 24 year old Khyrie Alleyne. By all accounts he is a Rising Baller. Alleyne is a mobile app founder in accord to being a published writer, community service activist, success coach and motivational speaker. His educational accomplishments are just as impressive . He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s with concentrations in International Relations and Public Policy. Alleyne spearheads the Anyway Initiative, an initiative developed to “inspire, motivate and enhance the inner you”. His efforts are impacting society in a positive manner that words fail to encompass.
The Brooklyn native and Howard University Alum has created a mobile app that takes communication to the next level. Recently featured on Black Enterprises, Alleyne’s #SelfieFaze allows users to be more personal in their communications. Alleyne allows the user to communicate through individual or group messaging. However, Alleyne’s advantage is found in the way the users communicate within the chat messenger. SelfieFaze allows users to use their images as #AnYCoNs (realistic emojis). If further explanation is needed, Alleyne added the features #Swagg and #Vibe. Swagg allows users to add written messages to their AnYCoNs while Vibe adds voice recordings. It’s rather ingenious.
At 24, Khyrie Alleyne is leaving his imprint on technology and the society. His positive outlook with his commitment to be successful has Alleyne blazing a path of his own. While most his age are figuring out career paths and how to fit their degrees into their fields, Alleyne is impacting society. Whether it be through his words of encouragement and motivation or his community service, Alleyne inspires and motivates.
Alleyne’s journey from inception to execution is quite intriguing. You can read about it on Black Enterprises. Get more acquainted with Khyrie Alleyne.

My Thoughts: What I really found cool with this creation is that individuals are able use to images that resemble them. As adults we don’t focus on whether an emoji represents us, but as a kid going through chemo ( Leah Still) or a teenager struggling with puberty and the awkwardness of glasses and/or braces, these realistic portrayals reinforce self confidence. Kudos to Khyrie Alleyne for that.
Be sure to check out the app. Serena and Venus Williams ( yes, the legendary tennis pros) adore it.
