Looks like Rob Kardashian may be letting bygones be bygones. He has decided not to go through with his years-long legal battle with Blac Chyna.
The former “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star filed a dismissal in his assault lawsuit against the mother of his child, Blac Chyna, for the sake of their daughter, Dream.
A judge has approved the motion, Page Six confirmed.
“My love for Dream far outweighs my desire to proceed with my claims against her mother in a public trial,” Kardashian told Page Six in an exclusive statement.
“Now that the court has ruled that there is sufficient evidence to warrant a jury trial on my claim for assault, for our daughter’s sake, I am dismissing the action and focusing on my co-parenting relationship with Chyna.”
The dismissal comes after a judge denied Rob’s motion to postpone the start of their trial, which was set to start next week.
Rob was suing Chyna over a September 2017 assault. He claimed she tried to strangle him with an iPhone charger cord after she consumed copious amounts of both drugs and alcohol.
He said he was able to escape the assault but also said she repeatedly struck him in the face and head.
Chyna, 33, has continued to deny her ex-fiancé’s allegations.
