Several states are cracking down on revenge porn, specifically California, who has very strict laws against it.
Revenge porn is the act of distributing sexually explicit images or video by a partner of an intimate relationship without their consent. In short, if your ex leaks your nudes or sex tape online out of spite, you may have recourse and they could face up to six months in jail.
On Wednesday, Rob Kardashian went on a social media tirade, accusing Blac Chyna of sleeping with multiple men and posting nude photos of her on Instagram. TMZ argues that because Blac Chyna “liked” the photos, it may appear that she was okay with the photos being leaked, therefore under the law, it’s hard to argue she suffered emotional distress. However, we all know that a “Like” doesn’t mean she really LIKED the photos, but could also mean she acknowledged that he posted them.
Rob’s Instagram page has since been deactivated and the lone Kardashian son has reposted the nude photos on Twitter. Could Chyna have a case?
