Robert Griffin III, known as RG3, is ready to spill the tea about his time as a quarterback with the Washington Football Team, including sexual harassment that he witnessed.
The explosive tell-all titled “Surviving Washington” will detail RG3’s four-year career with the team that he called one of the “most dysfunctional franchises in all of sports” in a video posted to Twitter on Tuesday.Â
“I’m gonna open your eyes to the sexual harassment that permeated the walls of that building,” he said in the clip. This is not the first time that the Washington Football Team has faced sexual misconduct allegations. Owner Daniel Snyder previously paid $1.6 million as part of a settlement with cheerleaders for the team who claimed to have been sexually harassed.Â
RG3’s new claims come as a shock to many, as he recently told a reporter that he would “love to go back” to Washington for a “full circle” moment with his former NFL home following Ryan Fitzpatrick’s injury. It is unclear what motivated his change of heart.

The exposé will also cover his infamous 2012 ACL and LCL injuries sustained during a playoff game against the Seahawks. RG3 played in the game despite the team doctor James Andrews advising against him rushing back to play, as he was still recovering from a knee injury. Â
“Surviving Washington” will be released on August 9th, 2022, through Simon & Schuster and written with the help of former New York Daily News reporter Gary Myers.
