Just hours after New England Patriots owner, Robert Kraft, was charged for soliciting prostitution in a Florida spa, ESPN’s Adam Schefter revealed that the billionaire boss wasn’t the only high-profile person involved.
“He is one of the individuals,” officials said at a press conference of the investigation into human trafficking, prostitution and the possibility of money laundering in Palm Beach County, Florida. “He is being charged with the same offenses as the others, and that is soliciting another to commit prostitution.”
While Kraft, 77, was caught on camera at the Orchids of Asia Day Spa & Massage on two different occasions, he was only one of more than two dozen charged in the incident. However, according to Schefter, despite his celebrity status, Kraft was not the most famous person involved.
“I’m also told that Robert Kraft is not the biggest name involved there in South Florida,” Schefter said. But apparently, there’s no word on who the biggest name is.
In the meantime, Kraft has maintained his innocence, as a spokesperson for the owner said, “We categorically deny that Mr. Kraft engaged in any illegal activity.”
