Since football players can’t seem to limit their hitting to the people they’re paid to hit, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has been under a lot of pressure to get things under control. He’s been criticized about how he’s chosen to handle things and for that, he’s holding a press conference in New York today.
At 3pm EST Roger Goodell will address the media regarding the domestic violence epidemic in the NFL. He will also  take questions from the media about domestic violence issues and the NFL’s personal conduct policy.Â
In a memo uncovered by ABC, Goodell has taken steps to educate teams on the issue through a series of programs. In the memo sent out on Thursday, Goodell said the NFL has initiated a “long-term commitment to help people affected by domestic violence and sexual assault.”
I’m interested to see how this press conference goes. Up until now, he hasn’t said much to the media at all.
