In a recent appearance on InfoWars, conservative political consultant and lobbyist Roger Stone accused former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon of blackmailing Donald Trump for a pardon.
When asked by Alex Jones why Bannon was pardoned by Trump, he replied, “I think he was blackmailed, that’s what I think.”
During his appearance, he also talked about how Bannon has previously accused the former president of having Alzheimer’s, has openly spoken about the Trump Organization as being a criminal enterprise, and that Bannon also said Trump would be prosecuted. He also claimed Bannon is an informant for Robert Mueller. The latter opened an investigation into whether there was any Russian interference in the 2016 election.
Stone was indicted on seven charges, including witness tampering and lying to congress. He was found guilty and was sentenced to three years in prison but had his sentence commuted by Trump last year, according to The Independent.
Stone then challenged Bannon to face him in a debate on Infowars.
“So right now, here, today, I am challenging Steve Bannon to come on Infowars and debate this, let’s have it out. Alex [Jones], you can moderate it, so it stays civil,” he said.
