A Tuscaloosa, AL area mansion owned by Dallas Cowboys LB Rolando McClain went up in flames Monday night as witnesses say they saw a suspicious vehicle speeding away.Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Lt. Andy Norris said the vehicle could be a clue in the fire but they have yet to determine whether the fire that left McClain’s home completely gutted, was set purposely or not.
Luckily the six-bedroom, five-bath brick home, which was listed for sale at $1.5million, was vacant and no one was hurt. “Any time you have a vacant house go up, particularly one of that value, you have to consider it suspicious,” Lt. Andy Norris said. “Every house in that neighborhood is probably over $1 million.”
McClain took to Twitter to share his thoughts on his home burning. “It can’t be real! Too much of my history in that house for it to be gone,” he tweeted.
Well, it’s great that no one was hurt and hopefully the authorities do their due dillligence in finding out the cause of the fire.
