A Rolling Stone Magazine’s top ‘100 Singers of All Time’ list has resurfaced and subsequently sent Twitter into a frenzy!

The list, which was originally published back in 2010, lists Aretha Franklin at number 1, Marvin Gaye at 6, Bob Dylan at 7, Bob Marley at 19, Michael Jackson at 25, Bono at 32, Whitney Houston at 34, Luther Vandross at 54, Christina Aguilera at 58, Mariah Carey at 79, and Mary J. Blige at 100.

Twitter users were quick to point out that Whitney Houston should at least be in the top 10, and the list is trash due to Luther Vandross being too low in the Top 100.

Others were puzzled that Bob Dylan made it in the top 10, and Beyoncé fans wanted to know where in the world was Queen Bey on that list! However, Beyoncé wasn’t the only artist left off of the list, Twitter users also called for Frank Sinatra, Adele, Ella Fitzgerald, and Louis Armstrong, amongst others.

If this list was to be republished today, who should be added, and who should be removed?

Where the hell is the man with the golden voice george micheal. The people that should create this list ought to be vocalist and singers. Mariah is 79 n Whitney n Luther. The list again hints ethnic marginalization. Excuse me…the best singers usually have soul. There are great soulful white singers like Bonnie Raitts beautiful clear sound. But for the most parr the best singers are of color and are anointed with that voice. And where is the male Whitney Mr. Tevin Campbell. See the people that chose dont know their R&B but copycat Elvis who got his sound and voice from gospel and rnb is #3
The original of that sound is actually little richard which is rock n roll. This list has no merit.

u need to start over RS, you left out singers that should be in the top 20..it’s not about the money,it’s about there voice, and how they sing a song. that’s how u can tell who is the top 100 greatest singers of all time.

WHITNEY HOUSTON is at 34… this is very disrespectful towards the Queen and THEVOICE of all the times. You f****** people are very insane. If anything Ms. Whitney Elizabeth Houston should at lease BE at the top of the list between 1 and 2. There’s a reason why they named her The Voice#?#??#??

Donna Summer not on the list is also ridiculous. She was one of the most talented vocalists of a generation and an icon.
