Los Angeles police arrested Jersey Shore star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro on Thursday for a felony domestic violence charged.
According to TMZ, a source told the outlet that the reality tv star’s ex-girlfriend Jenn Harley who is also the mother of his child Ariana was in Las Vegas when he was arrested and was not part of the incident.
At the time, their child was with Ortiz-Magro, and her mother is reportedly headed to LA to pick her up, Complex reported.
“We have just learned of the new allegations against Ronnie and need some additional time to further investigate,” Ortiz-Magro’s attorney Scott Leemon said. “As such, we will not be making any other statements at this time.”
Ortiz-Magro went public with Saffire Matos in October 2020 after sharing photos on Instagram of the two vacationing in Puerto Rico. However, the last photo of them together was a few months ago.
Apparently, Ronnie is still on probation from his domestic violence incident with Harley. He was arrested after a neighbor called the police to report a physical altercation that resulted in his ex-girlfriend knocking on their door while holding Ariana, who was 18 months at the time.
When authorities arrived, Ortiz-Magro was holding a knife and refused to leave home. Police eventually tased and took him into custody, where he was booked on kidnapping charges.
