That’s Baller: The New Roofless Bentley Bacalar Is Priced At $2 Million

Bentley has unveiled a luxury vehicle exclusively for the biggest ballers of the world with a price tag of $2 million.

The Bentley Bacalar takes convertibles to new heights by completely scrapping the concept of a roof. The car does not feature any shield from bad weather, making it a whip reserved for stunting on sunny days.

Bentley spokesman Tim Hannig says that the company was committed to making “something of extraordinary beauty,” which is why they chose not to include a roof.

“When you don’t have a roof, you can make the flow of the cabin go into the contour of the exterior. So this car is very much about the design language,” Hannig explained.

The Bacalar includes a turbocharged 650-horsepower 12-cylinder engine. While it shares the essential parts of the Bentley Continental GT, the lack of a roof and backseat makes the vehicle lighter, which helps lower the car’s center of gravity and improves the way it goes around curves. In addition, the interior features wood that’s been naturally aged for 5,000 years, changing its color to a natural black.

Only twelve Bacalars will be available for purchase, though it is unclear when and if the buyers have already placed their bids for this pricey whip.
