Royal Caribbean Will Embark on ‘World Cruise of World Cruises,’ Plans to Visit 150 Destinations

Royal Caribbean International is set to visit 150 destinations for its “world cruise of world cruises.”

On Wednesday, Royal Caribbean announced its Serenade of the Seas would go on the “longest and most comprehensive” world cruise. Over the course of 274 nights, the cruise will stop at more than 150 destinations and travel across 65 countries. Some of the destinations include Casablanca, Morocco; Shimizu, Japan; and Qaqortoq, Greenland.

And the price is as massive as the seas the cruise will sail in – if you’ll be aboard for the entire cruise. Lyan Sierra-Caro, the spokesperson for Royal Caribbean, told USA Today the full cruise trip would start at $60,999 per person plus taxes and fees. If you don’t want to be on for the entire time, passengers can book segments of the trip separately, USA Today reports.

Michael Bayley, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean International, said the cruise has been named the “Ultimate World Cruise,” will be “the world cruise of world cruises.”

“Now more than ever, people have resolved to travel the world and make up for lost time. Royal Caribbean is making that a reality with the ultimate vacation that welcomes those seeking adventure and exploration to taste, dance and dream with us around the world,” Bayley added. “To travelers asking themselves where they should go next, we say everywhere.”

The cruise will depart in 2023, starting in Miami.
