Rumor Alert: Rihanna & Kanye No Longer Headed On Tour?

Back in February it was announced that Kanye West and Rihanna would be embarking on a joint tour but as quickly as the news came, it went, and since then we haven’t heard a thing about it. Well, according to rumors, Rihanna has distanced herself and the tour is supposedly not happening.

Fans around the world were so excited after it was leaked back in February that Rihanna and Kanye West would be doing their first joint tour together! But it may not end up happening—thanks to Rihanna

A source tells OKMagazine.com exclusively, “She started having second thoughts shortly after it was leaked back in February that the tour details were ‘accidentally’ released by Kanye’s creative team, DONDA.”

“She didn’t like how it was announced and felt like Kanye would take control over how the tour was promoted too. She didn’t want to be a part of it.”

Well, Kanye is very big on being in control, so it is plausible that he would have tried to take over the tour planning. However,we really wanted to see them perform their best hits, including their most recent one, FourFiveSeconds. But maybe RiRi will plan a tour of her own? Our insider reveals, “She doesn’t need him.” And on top of that, she is concerned that his image will not put her in the best light.

And another reason Rihanna is backing out of touring with Kanye? Kim Kardashian! Wherever Kim goes, a huge entourage follows, and RiRi is just not in the mood for it. “She didn’t want Kim to interfere with her work or her image.”  

“She’s worried that everyone thinks he’s a joke and he’d ruin her brand.” Yikes. Well it is true that he is just as well known for his outbursts and rants as much as he is his music these days.

File this one under “Rumor Alert”. Although I do believe the tour isn’t happening, I think it has less to do with Kanye and Kim, and more to do with the fact that these two don’t need to be touring right now to begin with. Both have albums they need to work on. If there IS a tour, it should come towards the end of the year (at the earliest).
