Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is so dedicated to his football career that he spends upwards of $1 million yearly on his body.
The 33-year-old appeared alongside his wife Ciara on Tuesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! During their chat, Wilson told Kimmel that he hopes to play in the NFL until he is 45, which is why he has dedicated such a large amount to keep his body in the best shape. While the price tag is a bit steep, Wilson says it’s all a part of the “process.”
“It’s a lifestyle. I think that when you’re trying to play as long as I’m trying to play. I’m trying to play to 45, 12 more years,” he shared. His singer and model wife chimed in to show her support for Wilson in between gazing admiringly at her hubby. “I’m in it with him,” she assured.
Wilson previously outlined his day-to-day team who helps him remain at his best. During a 2020 appearance on Ben Simmons podcast, the father of three revealed that his “performance team” consisted of a full-time trainer that travels with him, a full-time massage therapist, two chefs, and a full-time physical therapist.
