In what is being called one of the biggest blockbuster trades in the NFL, the Seattle Seahawks has traded its star quarterback Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos.
Although, for now, the deal is pending a physical and Wilson’s approval, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported.
There are multiple reports claiming quarterback Drew Lock is returning to Seattle in the trade, as well as multiple first-round picks, additional draft picks, and players.
Earlier Tuesday, the Broncos’ other star quarterback target, Aaron Rodgers, said he would be returning to the Packers. Shortly after that, Denver made its move for another Super Bowl winner.
Schefter added that the news of Rodgers had “nothing to do” with the Wilson trade.
