Ryan Garcia recently claimed that Kanye West will walk him out for the upcoming boxing match against Devin Haney on April 20 at the Barclays Center in New York City.
The 25-year-old boxer revealed the news in a brief post on his X account, saying, “Kanye walking me out. You heard it here first/ Big money let’s go.” Kanye has yet to respond to the announcement.

This news comes shortly after Garcia expressed frustration with West, whom he had previously criticized publicly.
In a series of now-deleted tweets, Garcia vented his anger at West for initially rejecting the walkout proposal. He accused the musician of being upset over a comment Garcia made referencing Diddy, which played off a current internet slang trend.
During a media session before his fight, Garcia recounted West’s refusal, saying, “Kanye told me ‘no.’ He doesn’t like that I said ‘no Diddy.’”
Garcia’s frustration spilled over into a broader conversation where he called out Ye for his controversial remarks, personal losses, and changes in public image. “Why Kanye mad at me for saying ‘no diddy’. He lost it when he said he was the New Jesus,” Garcia stated.
In his tweets, Garcia did not hold back, targeting West’s personal life, his marriage with Kim Kardashian, and his business ventures. He even made provocative claims about West’s sexuality and personal habits.
The boxer also brought up other celebrities, such as Drake and Pete Davidson, in his critique, highlighting their relationships with Kardashian to underscore his points about West’s recent struggles and controversies.
Garcia’s outburst included a variety of accusations, from calling West “a beacon for hate” to mocking his claims of divinity and his business strategies. While these tweets have been removed, they showcased a significant rift between the two, which makes their upcoming collaboration at the fight even more surprising.
