What happens on the Internet, stays on the Internet, and what’s tweeted before the fame will always pop back up after. However, 21-year-old Sabrina Claudio learned that the hard way after fans dug up a phony Twitter account she reportedly used to bash black women and dark-skinned Latinas.

According to Vibe, Claudio, who is Cuban and Puerto Rican, reportedly ran a Twitter account under the name @ODamnYourUgly to share her disparaging comments and even dropped the n-word a few times on her current page.

“It must suck to be a black girl with no booty,” she wrote in an old tweet. “F*ck it, I’ll be a black girl for Halloween,” she wrote in another. She even responded to a tweet that read, “Hispanic girls that talk like they’re black <,” to which she replied, “RFT Ghetto.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀While some fans tried to defend Claudio with the age-old excuse, “That was 5 years ago, people change,” others were not here for it. Especially, since the singer failed to apologize immediately after the tweets surfaced.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀“The ones who are calling her are “reaching” like she didn’t tweet bright as day she misses her old account where she shamed black women. That’s scary,” one user wrote. “‘bUt SHE sAiD iT 4-7 YrS aGO…pEoPle cHaNge’ People do change but instead of apologizing, she deleted her racist tweets.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀However, Claudio’s comments were not limited to a few years ago. In fact, this year, she wrote a few questionable comments on her Instagram.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀“I rather be a pasty white girl than a sweaty chonga,” she wrote in response to a fan.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Since the widespread backlash though, Claudio has responded and apologized for her “past ignorance.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀“I am deeply sorry for the insensitive words I’ve used,” she wrote in her apology. “Some of the things you are seeing are true while others aren’t. I realize my past ignorance is affecting people I care so much about and I am so sorry. I’ve made mistakes and while I cannot take them back, I will learn from them.”
