Safaree kept his word and showed up to Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 Tour stop in Miami in a jean vest, as promised.
A video quickly made the rounds showing what looked like bodyguards trying to escort Safaree away from the spot he was standing in.
Some fans thought he was getting kicked out, but it appears that wasn’t the case.
Later, when Nicki brought out her husband, Kenneth Petty, many thought she was throwing shade by bringing her man onstage.
After facing backlash online, Safaree responded on X, saying, “I’m proud no cap… a lot of yall will never understand but there is no malice in me… I’m proud.”

He made it clear he wasn’t there to cause drama, just to support Nicki, proving that, even with their history, there’s no bad blood on his end.
