As the holiday season approaches, everyone seems to be getting into the spirit, including Sam’s Club, which has introduced The Holidog.
Described by the big box chain as “half Thanksgiving, half Christmas,” the Holidog is a limited-time twist on their popular hot dog, combining traditional Thanksgiving and Christmas toppings on one bun. To meet the demand for convenient, high-quality meals at a great value, Sam’s Club is introducing three Holidog flavors that capture the essence of the holidays.
Guests can choose from the “Club Mash Up,” a hot dog topped with mashed potatoes and Christmas cookies; the “Frankly Both,” a combination of pumpkin pie and candy canes; and “Season’s Meatings,” which features turkey and prime rib. These holiday-themed hot dogs are available exclusively at three special Holidog carts in cities across the U.S. in December: New York City had its Holidog Day on December 5th, Nashville will take place on December 9th, and Dallas on December 12th. Each cart will be open from 11:00 a.m. until sold out, offering a limited time to try these unique creations.
If the pre-topped hot dogs aren’t your style, you can still customize your own by choosing one Thanksgiving topping, such as Member’s Mark Hickory Smoked Whole Turkey or Apple Pie, and one Christmas topping, like Member’s Mark Fully Cooked Prime Rib or Crushed Doscher’s Candy Canes. Top it all off with gravy, parsley, whipped cream, or cranberry sauce for a truly festive meal. The most incredible part is that the Holidog’s are free of charge.
