Sam’s Club Setting Annual Membership To $8 For Limited Time Only

For a limited time only, Sam’s Club is cutting the cost of its membership down to $8.

A membership that is usually $45 a year is now just $8 for Sam’s Club after the mega store announced its new deal for the July 4 holiday. The company made the announcement this Thursday, Fox Business reports. The deal will only be on the table until June 26.

“Our members love a cause for celebration, and they’ve told us they plan on getting together with family and friends this Fourth of July – that insight has inspired our merchants to curate and develop unique items to meet their needs,” Sam’s Club chief member and marketing officer Ciara Anfield, Fox Business reports.

The idea for the deal came earlier this year as part of a Super Bowl promotion, and it was brought on based on the yard line the football was on during the fourth quarter’s two-minute warning in the game, Fox Business reports.

“Just like our members, we also have a ‘more the merrier attitude,’ so we’re excited to be able to bring back our $8 membership offer and let more people discover the quality, convenience, and value that Sam’s Club offers,” she went on.

According to Sam’s Club Twitter, the deal only applies to “new Members and previous Members with inactive accounts of 6 months or more.” “Plus” memberships aren’t included in the deal.
