You can now make Samuel L. Jackson the voice of your muthaf*ckin Alexa virtual assistant.
On Wednesday, Amazon announced it will introduce Samuel L. Jackson as the first celebrity voice for its popular Alexa virtual assistant.
You can purchase Mr. Jackson’s voice for just 99 cents. His voice package includes him reading you the news, weather reports and telling jokes. Some requests are: “Alexa, ask Samuel L. Jackson, where he is from, Alexa, ask Sam to wake me up at 7 a.m., Alexa, ask Sam Jackson to sing happy birthday.”
The new Samuel L. Jackson feature is rated mature because of …well…it’s Samuel L. Jackson and cussing is his thing. But, if you a G-rated type of consumer then you’re able to turn off the explicit language. Jackson’s voice will make its appearance later this year.
Other celebrity voices will be added next year.
