The 49ers have released CB Nnamdi Asomugha and this was an expected move after he has not helped on special teams nor played well this season. The 10-year veteran was expected to play big and add depth to the 49ers defense, but he was unable to do so quickly enough. The 49ers signed Asomugha to a one year, $1.35 million dollar deal and they are waiting to see if another team will pick him up and handle the remainder of his salary. Asomugha is Actress Kerry Washington’s husband and they are expecting their first child. If there is a team that needs a Cornerback this guy is available.
