On Sunday morning, San Francisco 49ers’ Reuben Foster was arrested on domestic violence, threats, and possession of an assault weapon charges.
According to the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department, the NFL linebacker was taken into custody after cops responded to a call about a possible disturbance around 9:15 a.m. The victim was said to be Foster’s longtime girlfriend.
Upon arrival, officers discovered what appeared to be an assault rifle inside of the home. Foster was then arrested without incident and transported to the Santa Clara County Main Jail. He was held on a $75,000 bail but has since been released.

However, officials are still investigating.

This happens to be Foster’s second arrest within only a month’s time. Last month, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, the 23-year-old was booked on second-degree marijuana possession—which is a Class A misdemeanor in the state of Alabama.
