“Saved by the Bell” star Dustin Diamond is set to replace Lenny Dykstra in the upcoming Celebrity Boxing match. He will take on “Bagel Boss Guy” Chris Morgan.
Diamond has signed up to put the paws on Morgan this Saturday in Atlantic City, The Post learned. Diamond confirmed the match with Celebrity Boxing promoter #Damoneldman after Dykstra suddenly dropped out just days prior to the fight. “He’s already won on Celebrity Boxing before, but he hasn’t trained, so it’ll be a fair match,” Feldman said.
This isn’t Diamond’s first time inside the ring. Back in 2002, Diamond sparred with actor Ron Palillo, who played Arnold Horshack on the 70’s sitcom “Welcome Back, Kotter.” Morgan’s rep said his client’s tactic is taking low blows at his opponent. “He had seen that Dustin Diamond was in a porno,” his rep told The Post. “It’s wildly known that he has a large penis.” Morgan said that he’s “pretty confident” that he’ll wear out the actor. “If he goes for a punch, I can duck under him easily,” Morgan told The Post. “I’ve faced people that big before.”
Reps for Diamond didn’t immediately respond to request for comment. The fight is set for 7 p.m. on Saturday at The Showboat Hotel.
