“Say A Little Prayer,” Legendary Singer Aretha Franklin “Gravely Ill” and Surrounded By Family, According to Reports

On Sunday, relatives of ArethaFranklin told reporters that the legendary Queen of Soul is “gravely ill,” and surrounded by family in a Detroit Hospital amid her condition.

“I spoke with her family members this morning,” Evrod Cassimy said in the wake of the news. “She is asking for your prayers at this time.” 

In an earlier report, Showbiz 411’s Roger Friedman revealed that the 76-year-old songstress had been surrounded by loved ones in Detroit, amid her longstanding battle with numerous health problems.
