Rapper ScarLip faced an awkward and embarrassing moment during a recent Instagram Live with her boyfriend. During the stream, ScarLip asked her boyfriend if he thought she was pretty. While he initially responded with “You’re beautiful,” he quickly added, “sometimes.”
ScarLip’s expression changed noticeably as she pressed him on the comment, asking, “What does that mean?” He clarified, “It means sometimes, sometimes you’re pretty…” When she asked if he thought she looked pretty at that moment, he bluntly replied, “No, not right now. Definitely not right now. Definitely not, you lookin’ a little…” He trailed off, leaving ScarLip visibly embarrassed.

After a long, uncomfortable pause, ScarLip decided to end the livestream, saying, “I’mma get out of here, y’all. I don’t feel like going live no more.” She asked her boyfriend again if he thought she was pretty, but he stood by his “sometimes” comment, leading her to abruptly end the stream.
The incident sparked a wave of reactions online, with one user criticizing ScarLip’s team for allowing her to be “out here embarrassing herself.” The user commented, “Girrrrl… You don’t give STAR power.
