Marlon Wayans recently teased the return of Scary Movie 6 and he shared it’s going back to where it all started and with the original Wayans brothers in charge.
During an interview supporting his brother Damon, Marlon spilled the tea on what fans can expect: “We got the gloves off. We’re going R. We’re going to have the same fun and the same kind of tone and Wayans flavor that we gave on the first one.”
Marlon and Shawn Wayans, who wrote and starred in the first two Scary Movie films, are returning after stepping away from the sequels that followed.
Keenen Ivory Wayans, their brother, directed the first two films, and the trio is back at it for Scary Movie 6, which hits theaters on June 12, 2026.
Marlon made it clear that the sequels that followed lacked that special Wayans flavor, saying, “We’re bringing out Lowry’s and that Frank’s Hot Sauce” to spice things up.
