Police are investigating after a Scottish woman’s body was found in the home she shared with her husband after failing to show up for her COVID-19 vaccine appointment. Authorities believe she may have been dead for at least 12 years.
According to The Daily Record, Christina Malley’s remains were found when nurses showed up at the home after she failed to make her appointment. Her husband initially said she had gone abroad.
Police are investigating the woman’s death but believe she may have been dead for as long as 12 years. The home has been boarded up while specialist forensic examiners search for clues.
A police spokesman confirmed the discovery of a woman’s body at the home and said: “The death is being treated as unexplained, and inquiries are ongoing.”
