Acting legend Sean Connery died of pneumonia, heart failure, and old age, according to his death certificate.
Connery, 90, died on October 31 at 1:30 a.m., according to the death certificate, which was obtained by TMZ. Connery’s wife, Michelin Roquebrune, said that he died in his sleep at home in the Bahamas.
The document lists the official cause of death as “pneumonia-respiratory failure, old age,” and atrial fibrillation. Atrial fibrillation is a rapid, irregular heartbeat and can lead to stroke, blood clots, and other heart-related issues.
The Scottish actor was best known for playing fictional British secret agent James Bond. He was also known for his roles in “The Hunt For Red October, “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade,” and “The Rock.”
