New arrest warrants have revealed a comprehensive list of fraud and theft charges against singer Sean Kingston and his mother, Janice Turner, in Broward County, Florida. Kingston, whose real name is Kisean Paul Anderson, was arrested in California on Thursday following a warrant from the Broward Sheriff’s Office. His mother, 61-year-old Janice Turner, was taken into custody earlier the same day during a raid on the Southwest Ranches mansion where the singer resides. She was released on bail over the weekend while Kingston remains in custody.

The recently released warrants reveal that Kingston faces 10 charges, including grand theft, fraud, organized scheme to defraud, and criminal use of personal identification information. Turner faces eight similar charges. From October 2023 to March 2024, Kingston, Turner, and others allegedly defrauded multiple businesses, including a jeweler, a luxury furniture maker, a high-end auto dealer, and a company specializing in TV and entertainment systems.
The warrants detail instances where Kingston allegedly fraudulently obtained a bed valued at over $86,000, a Cadillac Escalade worth $159,701.49, and jewelry valued at $480,000. One of the charges against Kingston is a probation violation, as he is currently on probation for trafficking stolen property.
The charges also include fraudulent use of personal identification related to multiple bank transactions. An attorney representing Kingston in a related lawsuit mentioned that the raid was partly connected to this case. The lawsuit, filed in February, accuses Kingston of defrauding a Florida company that installed a 232-inch television in his home, which he never paid for.
Kingston’s attorney, Robert Rosenblatt, stated that both Kingston and his mother deny the allegations and look forward to a jury trial in Broward County. Rosenblatt claimed there was no criminal intent and argued that the matter should be treated as a civil case.
Sean Kingston has been held without bail since his arrest last Thursday. He is scheduled for an extradition hearing in San Bernardino before being sent back to Florida to address these charges.
