A Georgia inmate who escaped a Bibb County jail has been captured a week after another inmate who escaped with him was finally apprehended by authorities.
Georgia authorities say Marc Anderson was retaken into custody just before 3 p.m. in a luxury skyrise in Buckhead.
In the wee hours of October 16, four inmates escaped from the Bibb County jail through a broken dayroom, 13WMAZ reported.Â
Anderson, 25, was found at the Huntley Apartments located at 1000 Park Drive in Atlanta’s swanky Buckhead community.
The Huntley’s rent prices start just under $2,300 a month and it has a 24-hour concierge and a doorman, its website reads.
Authorities searched high and low for the inmates. 19 days into their nationwide manhunt, Marc Anderson was captured. Still, two other inmates are on the run.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Intelligence Unit worked with the Bibb County Gang Unit, Georgia State Patrol SWAT, and the U.S. Marshals to locate and arrest Anderson.
Anderson was in jail facing three aggravated assault charges. Authorities say he allegedly shot at a woman in her car,  a woman in her residence, and a man in his residence on March 29, 2020.
Last week on Oct. 26, Chavis Stokes, another Inmate who escaped, was captured at a house in Montezuma in Macon County. He was arrested and charged with felony escape.Â
Authorities also arrested Tymesha Ceiarra Timley, 32, for helping Anderson.
She was arrested on Wesleyan Drive for hindering the capture of Anderson on Friday morning, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office said.
