Amid recent photos of Justin Bieber and ex-Selena Gomez, E! News reports that Gomez and her new beau The Weeknd have called it quits.
According to the publication, the former couple had been discussing the future of their relationship since the summer. “It’s been hard for them to come to the realization that this is the direction things were heading, but it’s been hard for months” a source told E! News. “They have been open and honest about it and where they were going. Distance definitely played a factor.”
Although the two have split after 10 months, sources say they are still cool. In addition, E! News reports that the break up had nothing to do with Gomez’s reconnection with the Biebs. In fact, a source tells the publication that the couple called it quits before Gomez met with Bieber on Sunday.
