A semi truck carrying hundreds of eggs crashed on the Will Rogers Turnpike in Oklahoma on Tuesday, leaving a messy scene on the snowy highway.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the truck was totaled in the accident, and photos from the scene show stacks of egg cartons spilled across the road. Fortunately, only minor injuries were reported.
“The semi was hauling eggs! Expensive cargo right now,” Oklahoma Highway Patrol shared in a statement, referencing the nationwide egg shortage caused by increased bird flu cases.
With egg prices soaring due to supply shortages, the spill comes at an unfortunate time for consumers and suppliers alike. Authorities have not yet released details on what led to the crash.
