Senator Ron Johnson Claims He Wasn’t Scared On January 6th, But “I’d Have A Real Fear If BLM Protested”

Senator Ron Johnson said he didn’t feel threatened at all during the violent coup attempt at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th because he considered the rioters to be true patriots. But Johnson did admit that if it had been BLM protesters, it would’ve been very scary.

According to TMZ, the Republican Senator from Wisconsin made his outrageous comments on “The Joe Pags Show.” When discussing the insurrection, Johnson said, “Even though those thousands of people who were marching on the Capitol were trying to pressure people like me to vote the way they wanted me to vote, I knew those were people that loved this country, that truly respected law enforcement, would never do anything to break the law, so I wasn’t concerned,” he said.

Senator Johnson definitely needed to get his facts straight, cops were indeed attacked during the melee at the Capitol, and one officer was killed after being beaten by the protesters.

Johnson went on to say, “Had the tables been turned, and President Trump won the election, and those were tens of thousands of Black Lives Matter and Antifa protesters, I might have been a little concerned.”
