Serena Williams has just made a special announcement — she’s going to be a wifey!
The tennis phenom announced that her boyfriend, 33 year old Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, proposed and she said yes. What made it even more awesome is that she made the announcement on her fiance’s website.
“I came home a little late. Someone had a bag packed for me and a carriage awaited. Destination: Rome. To escort me to my very own “charming.” Back to where our stars first collided and now it was full circle. At the same table we first met by chance, this time he made it not by chance, but by choice. Down on one knee he said 4 words and I said yes.”
Ohanion responded to Serena’s Reddit post, “And you made me the happiest man on the planet.”
Serena and Alexis have kept their love life pretty private. They hadn’t confirmed they were dating until August 2015, again, on Ohanian’s website.
They are super cute. Congrats to the happy couple!
