The G.O.A.T. Serena Williams is hinting that she might make her return back to tennis: “Tom Brady started an amazing trend.”
Last month, news broke that our beloved tennis star Serena Williams, 40, would be exiting the tennis court permanently for retirement. But, during an interview with Jimmy Fallon, the 23-time Grand Slam champion said she might hit the reverse button.
“There’s no chance of you pulling a Tom Brady and saying, ‘Maybe I’m evolving to coming back,’” asked Fallon. In response, she said, “You know what? Tom Brady started an amazing trend,” said Williams, who’s dominated the tennis space for 27 professional years.
“That’s what I want to say,” added Williams laughingly.
