A new animated series featuring reimagined Sesame Street characters is headed to your tv screens.
Just like the beloved Sesame Street puppets we’ve always known and cherished, comes the same characters but in a new robotic form. They won’t be showing up on the traditional PBS Sesame Street show but will instead make their debut on the new show Sesame Street Mecha Builders, CBS Mornings revealed on Monday.
Their names are Mecha Elmo, Mecha Cookie and Mecha Abby, and they use their STEM superpowers to solve the world’s issues. Some of their powers include growing in size, shrinking, super strength and more.
The series comes from the Sesame Street Workshop as a new animated show for preschoolers. The series premiered Tuesday with five episodes. It can be watched on Cartoon Network and HBO Max.
