Megan Thee Stallion has dropped the stunning visual for her hit record “Mamushi,” once again showcasing her cinematic flair.
Set in Tokyo, Japan, the video follows a storyline familiar to fans of Japanese cinema. Megan and several other women play spa workers, but their unsuspecting gangster patrons have no idea that Meg and her collaborator, Yuki Chiba, are plotting to kill them inside the sauna. Famed actor Shô Kasamatsu, known for “Tokyo Vice” and “Gannibal,” stars as the customer who chooses Meg to service him, unaware that she’s out to destroy him. Megan transforms into the venomous viper the track is named after.
After collecting the souls of Shô and the other men, Megan breaks out into a red-clad dance sequence, while Chiba is left to clean up the mess. The video also borrows from the 1990 film “Dreams,” featuring a scene where the souls of the dead men transform into a blue-faced military, with Megan commanding them.
The action-packed visual attracted nearly four million views in under 24 hours, earning praise from fans worldwide. While the video is filled with countless exciting moments, here are three standout scenes that left us completely gagged.
