As the “Sex And The City” reboot continues to come together for HBO Max, now comes word that another pivotal character will return to the fold.
John Corbett, who played the handsome furniture designer “Aiden Shaw” on the hit show, will make another return to the world of Carrie Bradshaw.
“I’m going to do the show,” he told Page Six in a recent interview, adding that the news is “very exciting” for him.
Corbett revealed that he will be in a few episodes, so he will probably play a big part in the storyline for the new 10-episode revival reboot.
“And Just Like That…” is already set to feature three-quarters of the original show’s leading ladies — Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon (Miranda), and Kristin Davis (Charlotte), along with Chris Noth (Big) and now John Corbett joining the cast.
Kim Cattrell, who played Samantha, has reportedly declined to join the forthcoming project. It’s been long rumored that she and Sarah Jessica Parker didn’t get alone throughout most of the show’s run.
