Track & field star Sha’Carri Richardson signed a $20 million five-year contract with Nike in December of last year. Even though some fans were not supportive when Richardson faced adversity, Nike has continued to support her throughout her journey.
This week, Richardson was teased as the brand ambassador for the Nike and Jacquemus collab that releases next Monday. Wednesday, a black Jacquemus Nike bag was shown being held by someone with a distinctive tattoo on their wrist. In the caption, fans were asked to guess who was included in the picture, and it didn’t take much time.
The company also announced the bag would also be released in pink, retailing for $525.
Richardson wore a pair of Nike Air Zoom Maxfly Track & Field Sprinting Spike Sneakers when she broke the record in the 100-meter final in Hungary last year. Her hard work and dedication have paid off, and she now has a great opportunity to elevate her brand at the upcoming Olympics in France.
