Shakira Says There’s A “Place In Hell” For Ex Husband’s New Girlfriend

Unlike Ariana Grande, singer Shakira is certainly not grateful for her ex-partner, Gerard Pique.

In fact, the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer unleashed on him and his new sweetheart, Clara Chia Marti, during a recent interview with Mexican TV network Canal Estrellas. During the sit-down, Shakira called out Marti, stating in Spanish that there is a “place in hell reserved for women who don’t support other women.”

Though it’s not completely clear why Marti is catching smoke from the Grammy-award winner, Shakira was seemingly unhappy with the father of her children going Instagram official with Marti back in January. The 36-year-old shared a selfie of himself with the 23-year-old college student. Shortly after, the now 46-year-old reacted to the news with a video of her dancing, captioned ”Women no longer cry; women dance merengue.”

Shakira spent 11 years with the former professional footballer. They share two sons, 7-year-old Sasha and 10-year-old Milan. Sadly, the long-term relationship was halted last year when Pique decided to go his separate way. The vocalist confirmed Pique cheated on her, but it’s unclear if Marti was the side chick, though it would explain the international superstar’s animosity.

Nevertheless, Shakira is making it clear that despite moving on with her life, she is not here for their newfound romance.

Is Shakira merely a woman scorned, or are her sly remarks valid, considering the way things ended with Pique?
