Shannon Sharpe thanked his haters and everyone who continues to make parody videos of him at Total Wine. Last Saturday, the former NFL star showed up at Total Wine for a limited release of his cognac Le Portier, and his mannerisms when he got out of the car created a social media frenzy.
A football player who has multiple hip surgeries and a long NFL career, his body is not the same and does not move the same either.
On Nightcap with Chad Johnson, Sharpe helped everyone understand how he deals with haters and people who continue to try to troll him. Unc explained that when someone does something that goes viral, others join the trend.
“Ay, I need someone else to go in front of Total Wine in a green outfit, because they just ordered 2,000 more cases,” Sharpe told Ocho. Y’all that did it, I appreciate that.”
Ocho mentioned that although everyone can laugh, Unc will ultimately win due to the product gaining more notoriety and continuing to sell.
“You know we talked about this Ocho, people asking ‘how much money did he make doing the Katt Williams interview?’ Well Ocho, I just got the check, so whatever you think I made, 3X it. So if you think I made $500,000 3X it. If you think I made a million, 3X it if you think I made $2 Million, 3X it.”
Sharpe also showed off his “John Mayer” Rolex after thanking his haters.
Sharpe’s cognac has been gaining popularity among consumers, and it has received numerous four and five-star reviews.
