Shar Jackson is slamming Britney Spears for denying claims that she was aware that Kevin Federline was expecting a baby when their relationship started.
Jackson told the Daily Mail, “When Kevin met Britney, we had three kids and one on the way, and we were living in a six-bedroom house in Orange County, California.”
According to Page Six, they share a daughter, Kori, and Federline also helped raise her two children from a previous relationship.
“One day, when I had bad morning sickness and was about six months pregnant, Kevin had an audition for a Coke commercial or something in LA, and then I didn’t hear from him for three days,” Jackson stated.
Federline and Britney reportedly met on the first night he went missing.
She said, “I felt angry and betrayed, and I went numb. I went onto autopilot.”
In Britney’s memoir, “The Woman in Me,” she claimed to be “clueless” about Federline’s relationship with Shar and said she had confronted him about it when she found out.
“You have kids? You have children? Not only one child but two children,” Spears recalled.
She added that a close friend shared this information with her after they had been together for some time.
However, Jackson claims that Spears knew about the situation and waited at the hospital in Orange County while Federline was present for the birth of his son, Kaleb.
Days after Kaleb was born, the Grammy winner and backup dancer reportedly got engaged. They later married in 2004 and had two sons, Sean Preston, now 18, and Jayden James, now 17.
“When I married Kevin, I meant it with all my heart,” Spears wrote in her memoir.
Kevin eventually became “enthralled by the fame and power,” so their marriage crumbled, Spears explained.
“Again and again in my life, I’ve seen fame and money ruin people,” Spears added. “And I saw it happen with Kevin in slow motion.”
Jackson claims there is no bad blood between her and Kevin.
“I think [Spears’] relationship with Kevin was a fantasy for both of them,” she said. “I never hated Kevin because if you really love someone, you can’t hate them.”
